Deadlock reçoit une refonte massive avec un nouveau patch de Valve, réorganisant complètement sa conception de carte principale. Le système à quatre voies a été remplacé par une structure à trois voies, mettant le jeu plus conforme aux conventions standard de MOBA.

Cette modification significative remodelera considérablement le gameplay. La distribution de voie précédente "1 vs 2" est obsolète; Maintenant, attendez-vous à un arrangement "2 vs 2", obligeant les joueurs à adapter leurs stratégies et leur gestion des ressources.
