Ultimate Arise Crossover: Beginner's Guide Released in Beta
*Arise Crossover* might seem straightforward at first glance—you recruit Shadow units and take down enemies to strengthen your team. But as you reach the endgame, it's clear that many players find themselves puzzled on how to progress, level up, and choose the right Shadows. If you're one of those players, this guide is here to help you navigate through the game with ease.
How Shadows Work in Arise Crossover
In *Arise Crossover*, each of the three islands hosts multiple recruitable Shadows and one formidable dungeon Shadow. The game's units are categorized by types and ranks. The weakest unit, **Soondoo**, is available right from the start, while the strongest, **Mifalcon**, can be found on the final Brum Island.
However, it's not just about types; ranks play a crucial role. **A Rank A Soondoo will outperform a Rank D Mifalcon**. Higher-ranked units have the potential to reach higher levels; for instance, a **Rank D unit tops out at Level 75**, whereas an **SS Unit can reach Level 200**. Your ultimate goal should be assembling a team of four SS-ranked Mifalcons, but the journey to get there is what makes the game engaging.
Arise Crossover Dungeon Guide
Dungeon Portals in *Arise Crossover* appear every 30 minutes and remain open for 15 minutes. Even if you enter just before a portal closes, you'll have the full time to complete the dungeon. These portals can appear in various locations across the islands with random difficulty ranks.
Start by forming a team of Rank D units and tackle a Rank D or C dungeon on Leveling Island. This approach should help you gather a solid team and possibly a rare (boss) Shadow Unit. **Dungeons are your primary source for recruiting Rare Units and units above Rank C**.
Whenever you receive a notification about a new portal, head straight to it. Even if your team isn't strong enough, position yourself near the portal and wait for other players to join. Often, higher-level players are willing to help boost lower-level players through dungeons. **Recruiting Shadows from dungeons is your key to progression in *Arise Crossover***.
For instance, when we had only Rank C units, a kind player helped us through a Rank A dungeon, enabling us to recruit Rank A units and eventually reach the endgame. We later paid it forward by assisting players with Rank D units through a Rank S dungeon. We encourage you to do the same.
Arise Crossover Weapons
During this Beta phase, player weapons in *Arise Crossover* are largely ineffective. While they may offer some assistance early on, by the time you reach the second island, their impact diminishes significantly. The **Iron Kando Blade**, the game's most powerful common weapon, costs 60 million and deals 516.1K damage, but your units can deliver 200 to 400 million damage. **Unless you have money to spare, it's best to save your funds until the game receives an update**.
How to Get a Mount in Arise Crossover
Wild mounts spawn every 15 minutes, and only one player per server can attempt to claim each mount. A server-wide message alerts players to a new mount, but there's no notification if someone else claims it or if it disappears.
Mounts can appear in six different locations: on the back of the main islands or on small side islands between them. Check the developer's map for specific spawn points.
You can't claim the same mount twice, and there's a chance you might fail to capture one. **Flying mounts are the rarest** with a 10% spawn rate, **ground mounts are more common**, and **water mounts can be purchased from the Boat Shop NPC**.
To get a mount, keep an eye out for the server message and race to the six potential spawn locations. While mounts aren't essential for progressing through the game, a flying mount can make travel much easier.
That concludes our guide for now. We'll continue to update this beginner's guide as *Arise Crossover* evolves. In the meantime, don't forget to check out the *Arise Crossover* codes for some free rewards.
