Halo community development studio The Forge Falcons has recently launched "Helljumpers," a new player-made PvE mode that brings a unique twist to Halo Infinite. Known as the "Helldivers 2 mode" of the military sci-fi shooter franchise, Helljumpers is now available for free in Early Access for Xbox and PC in Halo Infinite Custom Games.

Built using Halo Infinite's mapmaking tool, Forge, Helljumpers is "a 4 Player PvE experience inspired by Helldivers 2," the hit 2024 shooter title by Arrowhead Game Studios, as described by The Forge Falcons. The PvE mode offers: custom-made stratagems; a new, highly detailed urban map with randomized objectives; and a progression system that mimics Helldivers 2's upgrade unlock system.

In Helljumpers, players delve into the battlefield six times per game akin to Helldivers, as well as select their tailored loadouts before descending into the map. Choose from weapons ranging from automatic Rifles, Sidekick pistols, and more. The weapons you select can also be revived on the dropship. Additionally, players can perform enhancements using perks which comprise: health boosts, damage increases, and speed upgrades. Players will need to complete three objectives, comprising one story objective and two primary objectives, once they're on the ground before evacuation.
