Blasphemous Now Available on Android

Blasphemous, a challenging 2D platformer drawing inspiration from religious and Spanish folklore, is now available on Android. This release includes all DLC, gamepad support, and a redesigned user interface. An iOS release is planned for late February 2025.

The game plunges players into a dark, gothic world where they assume the role of The Penitent One, a warrior battling a malevolent curse known as The Miracle on the island of Cvstodia. Combat is brutal and unforgiving, featuring grotesque enemies born from a twisted blend of religious imagery and Spanish folklore.

The Android port features a completely revamped UI and intuitive touch controls, while Bluetooth gamepad compatibility is also included for players preferring that control scheme. All DLC is integrated into this mobile version.

While iOS users will need to wait until late February 2025, the overwhelmingly positive reception from players and critics suggests the wait will be worthwhile. The mobile platforming experience, often a point of contention, has been thoughtfully addressed with the redesigned controls and gamepad option.
