Applin Debuts in Pokémon GO: Sweet Discoveries Await!
Pokémon GO enthusiasts, get ready for the Sweet Discoveries event, where you can dive into the world of Applin, a charming Grass and Dragon-type Pokémon from the Galar region. This event is a must for anyone passionate about adding new Pokémon to their collection or hunting for rare shinies.
When Is Applin Debuting in Pokémon GO?
Mark your calendars for the Sweet Discoveries event, kicking off on April 24th at 10:00 a.m. and lasting until April 29th at 8:00 p.m. This is your chance to encounter Applin for the first time in Pokémon GO. To evolve Applin into Flapple, you'll need 200 Applin Candies and 20 Tart Apples. Alternatively, to evolve it into Appletun, you'll require the same number of candies along with 20 Sweet Apples. For its final evolution into Dipplin and then Hydrapple, keep collecting those candies and apples.
Speaking of apples, they're crucial for Applin's evolution and can be found in the wild. When you tap on them, you might discover a Tart Apple, a Sweet Apple, or even Applin itself. Boost your chances of finding these by using Mossy Lure Modules.
Did You Know?
Applin is unique because it lives its entire life inside an apple, cleverly disguising itself to evade bird Pokémon predators. It's one of the cutest Pokémon you'll encounter in Pokémon GO.
During the Sweet Discoveries event, you can snag some cool new avatar items from the shop, including an Applin Headband and an Applin Apron. Plus, enjoy the event bonus of 2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
Keep your eyes peeled for Shiny Delibird and Shiny Skwovet in the wild, as there's an increased chance of encountering them. Also, your odds of hatching Shiny Delibird, Shiny Cherubi, and Shiny Skwovet from 7 km Eggs are higher during this event.
Another sweet perk is that catching Delibird or Skwovet will reward you with berries. So, if you haven't already, download Pokémon GO from the Google Play Store and join the fun.
