Tiny Gator's Adventure Expands Soon by Getting 'Game-Sized' DLC

Lil Gator Game's "game-sized" DLC, In The Dark, is on the horizon, promising a subterranean adventure to match the scale of the original island exploration. This expansion, from MegaWobble and Playtonic Games, will delight fans of the charming 3D platformer.

For newcomers, Lil Gator Game casts players as an adorable alligator traversing a series of islands, assisting newfound friends. Blending Zelda's aesthetic with Yakuza's quirky humor, the game boasts a near-perfect Steam rating.

In The Dark introduces a sprawling underground world, rivaling the original game's size. A January 15, 2024 Steam update showcased a trailer depicting Lil Gator utilizing new traversal methods: mine cart rides, gliding past waterfalls, and stalagmite scaling.

New Tools and Companions

The expansion also features new weaponry and toys. A mining pick and a baton-like staff are showcased in the trailer. Lil Gator won't be alone; new companions—a mischievous pig, a cool lizard, a stylish bear, and a flamboyant bat—will join the adventure.
