LEGO Resurrects Simpsons Partnership, Reveals New Krusty Burger Set

LEGO enthusiasts and Simpsons fans, rejoice! LEGO has just unveiled the highly anticipated Simpsons-themed Krusty Burger set. This minifigure-scale set is packed with Easter eggs and nods to the iconic early seasons of the show. Priced at $209.99, the LEGO The Simpsons: Krusty Burger set is aimed at fans aged 18 and up. While it's not yet available for preorder, LEGO Insiders can get an early access opportunity starting June 1. The general public release is set for June 4. This marks the first Simpsons-themed LEGO set since the 2018 release of the Brickheadz models featuring Homer Simpson and Krusty the Clown. Before that, LEGO Simpsons fans could only get their hands on two sets: the detailed 2,523-piece Simpsons house from 2014 and the 2,179-piece Kwik-E-Mart from 2015. Both of these sets are now retired, making the announcement of the Krusty Burger set a thrilling revival of this beloved LEGO franchise.

Comprising 1,635 pieces, the Krusty Burger set measures 9 inches tall, 9.5 inches wide, and 7.5 inches deep. Its design takes inspiration from McDonald's, complete with a drive-thru menu and window. The entire structure hinges open to showcase intricately detailed interiors, including a kitchen, bathroom, and dining area. In addition to the restaurant, the set includes two separate buildable elements: the iconic Krusty Burger sign on a tall pole and Homer's Krusty-fied car, famously featured in the Season Six episode "Homie the Clown."

Included with the set are seven minifigures: Homer Simpson, Bart Simpson, Lisa Simpson, Farmer Krusty the Clown, Sideshow Bob, the Squeaky Voiced Teen, and Officer Lou. LEGO Insiders who purchase the set from either the online or physical LEGO Store between June 1 and June 7 will receive an exclusive gift with purchase: a 123-piece set of The Simpsons Living Room, available while supplies last.
