Tomnoki Studio's Sphere Defense is a fresh take on the tower defense genre, drawing inspiration from the beloved geoDefense. The developer, a fan of the original, has recreated that same blend of simple elegance and strategic depth.

The Story

Earth, or "The Sphere," faces annihilation at the hands of alien invaders. Humanity, forced underground, has finally developed the technology to fight back. You lead the counterattack, deploying your arsenal to save the planet.

Gameplay

Sphere Defense delivers a classic tower defense experience: strategically place units with unique strengths to repel waves of enemies. Earn resources with each successful defense to upgrade and expand your arsenal. Increasing difficulty levels demand more sophisticated strategies.

Diverse Turrets for Strategic Combat

Sphere Defense features seven distinct unit types, offering strategic combinations for survival. Attack units include the Standard Attack Turret (single target), Area Attack Turret (area-of-effect damage), and Piercing Attack Turret (effective against tightly grouped enemies).

Support units like the Cooling Turret and Incendiary Turret enhance your offensive capabilities. Specialized units such as the Fixed-Point Attack Unit (precise missile strikes) and Linear Attack Unit (satellite laser attacks) provide additional strategic options.
