Scarlet Girls: Crafting Your Ultimate 2D Squad - A Beginner's Guide

Author : Riley Update : May 12,2025

Dive into the thrilling world of *Scarlet Girls*, a brand-new Idle RPG where you command an all-girl squad of technologically enhanced mecha waifus. Set in the 119th year of the Old Euro Calendar, the game unfolds in a post-apocalyptic world where mutated animals and powerful beings have pushed humanity to the brink of extinction. As one of the last hopes for survival, you'll recruit and train these formidable mecha girls to combat the menacing catastromechs and restore peace to Earth. This beginner's guide will walk you through the core mechanics and game modes, helping you enhance your account's power and progression.

Understanding the Combat Mechanics of Scarlet Girls

*Scarlet Girls* offers a completely Idle-based experience, perfect for players who prefer a casual approach to gaming. The combat system operates on a turn-based format, where the sequence of actions depends on the Speed stat of your allies and enemies. A round concludes once all participants have taken their turn. You can deploy up to 5 characters into battle, and the game features a convenient Quick Dispatch option to automatically arrange your strongest characters into formations. Once set, sit back and enjoy the stunning animations of each character's special abilities.

Your characters, known as "Stellaris" in the game, possess both active and passive abilities that activate automatically during combat. Each skill has a cooldown period, requiring a certain number of turns before it can be used again. Crafting a synergistic squad of mecha girls is key to overcoming your foes. The battles unfold in real-time, with no direct player intervention during the combat phase. Your strategy hinges on the strength of your deployed characters and the strategic line-ups you create to maximize their potential.

Each Stellaris is categorized into one of four classes, each with unique roles and utilities:

  • Paladins – Boast the highest armor stat, acting as frontline defenders to absorb enemy attacks and protect their teammates.
  • Support – Equipped with healing and supportive abilities, these Stellaris provide crucial utility from the backline.
  • Devastator – Masters of heavy firepower, these Stellaris are designed to unleash devastating energy damage on enemies.
  • Assaulter – Skilled in close combat with bladed weapons, these Stellaris excel at dealing physical damage to dismantle and defeat their targets.

Echo – The Gacha System of Scarlet Girls

Recruiting Stellaris is facilitated through the game's gacha system, known as Echo. Stellaris come in various rarities: R, SR, SSR, and SSR+. Higher rarity Stellaris have superior base stats and access to more powerful abilities, significantly impacting your gameplay. At the global launch, the "Normal Echo" banner is available, allowing you to summon R to SSR Stellaris using Echo tickets or Diamonds. An SSR character is guaranteed within 40 summons, and each summon earns you 20 echo points. Accumulate 2000 points to summon a random SSR character from one of the four elemental banners (excluding Nebula). You can track your progress on the right-hand side of the Echo system.

The probabilities of recruiting different rarities of Stellaris are as follows:

  • R Stellaris – 19.979% chance per individual R character
  • SR Stellaris – 2.667% chance per individual SR character
  • SSR Stellaris – 0.133% chance per individual SSR character
  • SSR+ Stellaris – 0.010% chance per individual SSR+ character
