Best Strategist in Marvel Rivals
The ranking considers healing, buffing, and overall team support:
Rank | Hero |
---|---|
S | Mantis and Luna Snow |
A | Adam Warlock and Cloak & Dagger |
B | Jeff the Land Shark, Loki, and Rocket Raccoon |
S Tier
Mantis excels at healing and buffing allies. Her orb system, which regenerates automatically (or via headshots!), allows for both self-healing and damage boosts. While fragile, her ease of use and potent support make her a top choice.
Luna Snow, another S-tier character, offers a balanced approach. Her primary attack heals allies while also damaging enemies. Her Ice Art ability enhances healing and damage, and her Ultimate, Fate of Both Worlds, provides either AoE healing or damage, depending on the situation. Her focus on positioning and timing makes her accessible to new players.

A Tier
Adam Warlock's standout ability is his multi-teammate revive. His Quantum Zone Ultimate brings back fallen allies with temporary invincibility, even allowing for multiple revives of the same character. He also heals with Avatar Life Stream and shares damage via Soul Bond, providing a small heal-over-time effect.
Cloak & Dagger offer a unique blend of support and damage. Cloak's attacks can heal or damage, and she possesses self-healing capabilities. Dagger focuses on damage and applying Vulnerability debuffs. Dark Teleportation boosts ally movement speed and provides invisibility.
B Tier
Jeff the Land Shark, despite popularity, lacks the robust healing of higher-tier characters. His simplicity is good for beginners, but he struggles in extended fights.
Loki's effectiveness relies heavily on player skill and strategy. He heals allies and uses decoys, but precise decoy placement is crucial. His Ultimate allows shapeshifting into other heroes for 15 seconds.
Rocket Raccoon prioritizes utility and damage over pure healing. He can revive allies with his Respawn Machine and deals significant damage, blurring the lines between support and DPS. His effectiveness depends entirely on player skill and he's easily targeted due to his size.
Ultimately, the best support character depends on individual playstyle and enjoyment. This guide provides a framework, but personal preference should be the deciding factor.
Marvel Rivals is available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
