Genshin Impact, GTA, and ZZZ Hybrid Release Approved in China
The developers behind Project Mugen have finally unveiled the game's title: Ananta. Development is progressing steadily towards a full release.
Early promotional materials for Ananta have generated significant buzz, thanks to its unique blend of elements reminiscent of popular titles. The game incorporates features seen in Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and even GTA, all presented within a captivating anime aesthetic.
Ananta's release in China has been approved, with a projected launch in 2025 across PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile platforms. A trailer released on December 5th showcased Ananta as an open-world urban RPG where players assume the role of an A.C.D. agent in Nova, a sun-kissed coastal city brimming with mystery and opportunities for exploration.
This ambitious, large-scale project is a collaborative effort between NetEase Studios, Thunder Fire Studio, and Naked Rain. The developers highlight the game's global appeal, attributing it to the familiar yet supernatural blend of environments.
Key features of Ananta (formerly Project Mugen) include four-player team-based combat, a striking art style, and fluid, high-speed movement.
