Quick Links

The Cell Garden in Freedom Wars Remastered is a crucial area within your Panopticon that you'll encounter early in the main story. Not only is it essential for progressing through the narrative, but it also serves as a safe haven for farming resources, offering a stark contrast to the dangers of field operations.

Throughout the game, you'll discover multiple Cell Gardens, but the process to locate them remains consistent across different levels. Below, you'll find detailed instructions on how to access any Cell Garden and understand their mechanics for resource farming.

Where To Find Cell Garden Entrances In Freedom Wars Remastered

Your journey to the Cell Garden begins with a mission from Mattias, who wants you to investigate the ghost girl story. To reach the Cell Garden, head to the main cell block of Level 2: 2-A000. From your cell, look to the left corner of the block where you'll spot a small room resembling an elevator. Interact with it to be transported to 2-E165, the same area where you previously encountered Enzo.

Upon arriving at 2-E165, follow the right wall to another small room with a device that will take you to 2-G100. Repeat this process once more, as the far room in 2-G100 contains the device leading to the Cell Garden.

The route to the Cell Garden remains the same on every level, and acquiring the Quick-Travel Entitlement can significantly reduce the time spent navigating to it. After completing the main quest related to the Cell Garden, you'll have the freedom to visit it at any time or explore other Cell Gardens. However, securing a specific Entitlement first can enhance your experience.

Each device leading to the next room or the Cell Garden is marked with a blue door icon, making them easy to identify.

How Does The Cell Garden Work In Freedom Wars Remastered

The initial mission involving the Cell Garden differs from its regular use. Here's how the Cell Garden functions during subsequent visits:

  • You are allotted one minute before being automatically ejected.
  • The room's layout changes each time, presenting a new challenge.
  • Eight resources, represented by small green orbs, are scattered across the floor.

To extend your time in the Cell Garden, you can purchase Entitlements from the Window on Liberty. These upgrades are crucial, especially when dealing with layouts that include puzzle elements, making resource collection more challenging. The first upgrade, available after reaching CODE level 3, extends your stay to two minutes.
