Epic Games Offers Loop Hero and Chuchel for Free This Week
For those not in the know, it may surprise you to learn that the Epic Games Store for mobile follows its PC equivalent's example with free games available to claim for a limited time. Even better, on mobile, it's not monthly but weekly, and you get two games instead of one!
In the last week of April, Epic Games Store for mobile is offering two fantastic games completely free: Loop Hero and Chuchel. Regular readers might recognize Loop Hero immediately as it's one of our favorites here at Pocket Gamer. Jack gave it a glowing review, praising its engaging roguelike experience. If you play nothing else from this pair, make sure to play Loop Hero.
But what exactly is Chuchel? This surreal animated adventure follows the titular character, Chuchel, on his quest to reclaim his stolen cherry. Along the way, he and his rival Kekel find themselves in all sorts of hilarious and bizarre situations that you'll need to navigate or simply watch unfold.
Free-for-all
When our App Army reviewed Chuchel upon its release, they found it a bit confusing but ultimately a fun experience. And even if it's not your usual type of game, you can't beat the price: free. On the other hand, Loop Hero comes highly recommended for its challenging gameplay and stunning pixel visuals.
The Epic Games Store for mobile offers many of the same perks as its PC counterpart, including these free releases and access to games like Fortnite, which are otherwise unavailable on mobile.
