What's New in Monster Hunter Now Season 4?

Newcomers include Lagombi, Volvidon, Somnacanth, and the fearsome Tigrex. Returning favorites like Barioth and smaller monsters such as Wulg and Cortos also appear. Tigrex will be a major player in Hunt-a-thons and may even surprise you in the field. Unlock these creatures by completing urgent quests as you progress through the Season 4 story chapters. Unlocking the tundra requires completing the prologue.

A New Weapon: The Switch Axe

Season 4 introduces the versatile Switch Axe. This two-in-one weapon boasts long-range strikes in Axe Mode, instantly switching to a devastating Sword Mode for intense close-quarters combat. Unlock the Switch Gauge by finishing Chapter 2 of the pre-season story.

Customizable Palico Companions

Now you can have your own Palico companion! Customize its fur color, facial features, and even give it a silly name. AR enthusiasts can take their personalized Palico on real-world adventures and capture memorable photos.

Friend Cheering Feature

Season 4 introduces Friend Cheering, adding a collaborative element to your hunts. Send cheers to friends for a temporary health boost (with daily limits).
