Understanding the Gameplay Mechanics of CHASERS

You can control a variety of characters, officially referred to as "Chasers," which you'll unlock as you progress through the game without any gacha mechanics. The combat system is typical of modern ARPGs but with unique ability executions. During battles, you'll notice two bars at the bottom of the screen: the HP (Health Points) bar and the Energy bar. The HP bar shows your current health; if it drops to zero, your Chaser is defeated and out of the fight.

The Energy bar indicates your current energy level, which is consumed when using Chaser abilities. This energy regenerates over time or can be replenished faster by collecting Energy drones in dungeons. For controls, you use a virtual movement wheel on mobile devices, or, if playing on a PC via BlueStacks, you can opt for keyboard and mouse for a more precise experience. A unique feature in the game is "Elphis" magic, which allows Chasers to use all their abilities without consuming energy. Think of it as a turbo mode, enabling you to focus on executing damage combos and decimating your foes. When your Elphis bar is full, it glows blue, signaling it's ready to activate. Each Chaser has unique active abilities with specific cooldowns, and their ultimate ability, the most potent in their arsenal, recharges as they deal and take damage.

Crafting your Team Formation in CHASERS

Strategy and team composition are crucial in CHASERS: No Gacha Hack & Slash. You can deploy up to three unique Chasers in battle, choosing them manually or letting AI fill the slots with the strongest available based on power level. A standout feature of the combat system is the ability to switch between Chasers at the click of a button, with all deployed Chasers visible on the right-hand side of the screen.

Leveling Up – Use your accumulated Gold and experience materials of varying rarities to level up your Chasers. Each level increase boosts their base stats like Attack, Defense, and Health. Chasers can be leveled up to a certain cap, beyond which they need to be advanced to further increase the level cap.

Skilling Up – Enhance your Chasers' active and passive abilities by using Rusty Bolt of Wave and Battle Data of different qualities. This not only increases the damage multiplier of skills but also reduces their cooldown periods.

Breakthrough – To break through and enhance a Chaser's abilities, stats, or unlock new abilities, you'll need duplicate copies of the same Chaser, available for purchase with premium currency in the shop. Each Chaser can undergo up to six breakthroughs.
