Недавнее обновление Capcom портов Resident Evil 7 biohazard, Resident Evil 4 Remake и Resident Evil Village внесло спорные изменения. : обязательное онлайн-DRM. Хотя обновления часто улучшают оптимизацию или совместимость, для этого обновления требуется подключение к Интернету для подтверждения владения игрой при запуске.
