Rule customizations include:
- Stick the dealer. The dealer must bid if all other players pass.
- Dealer can steal. The dealer may match a previous bid to take it.
- Shooting the moon. Bid the maximum to win or increase it by one for an extra point if you take all tricks.
- Must bid to win. The winner must make the last bid to win, in addition to reaching the winning score.
- Junk points. Decide if the defending team can score points taken.
- Minimum bid. Set the minimum required bid from 1 to 10.
- Low point. Choose if the point for low trump goes to the capturer or the player who plays it.
- Jokers. Play with zero, one, or two jokers, each worth one point.
- Off-jack. Include the off-jack as an additional trump worth one point.
- Three of trump. The three of trump can be worth three points.
- Five of trump. The five of trump can be worth five points.
- Ten of trump. The ten of trump can be worth a point instead of game.
- Off-ace. The off-ace can be an additional trump worth one point.
- Off-three. The off-three can be an additional trump worth three points.
- Off-five. The off-five can be an additional trump worth five points.
- Last trick. Score the last trick as a point.
- Leading. Choose how to lead: makers must lead trump first, any suit can be led anytime, or trump can't be led until broken.
- Following suit. Decide if players can play a trump instead of following suit.
- Initial deal. Start with either six or ten cards.
- Discarding. After trump is set, choose whether discarding is allowed and which cards can be discarded.
- Refilling. While discarding, decide if the dealer or maker gets the stock.
- Play with trump only. Players must lead and follow with trump only when enabled.
- Misdeal. Allow for a misdeal if dealt only cards of rank 9 and lower.
- Kitty. Deal 2 to 6 cards to the kitty.
