Can't get enough of Tom Hardy and Pierce Brosnan’s gripping new crime drama? Craving another season of Helen Mirren commanding the screen? Good news: Paramount+ has officially greenlit MobLand for Season 2.

The streamer reports that 26 million viewers have tuned in since its March 30 debut — making renewal an obvious choice, especially with its star-studded cast. Paramount+ confirms MobLand is now its second most-watched original series ever.

Alongside Hardy, Brosnan, and Mirren, the show features House of the Dragon’s Paddy Considine and Downton Abbey's Joanne Froggatt. It follows Hardy’s Harry Da Souza, a fixer working for Brosnan’s mob boss Conrad Harrigan. The official synopsis describes "a riveting clash of criminal dynasties, their complex dealings, tangled alliances, and the troubleshooter who cleans up their messes."

"With 26 million-plus viewers and counting, MobLand is a creative triumph powered by producers Guy Ritchie, Jez Butterworth, Ronan Bennett and David C. Glasser, elevated by extraordinary performances from Tom, Pierce, and Helen," said Chris McCarthy, Paramount co-CEO and Showtime/MTV Entertainment president. "Thrilled to announce Season 2 of this global sensation that topped charts worldwide and became the UK's #1 series."

Season 1 currently holds a strong 75% on Rotten Tomatoes and remains streaming — though Season 2's premiere date remains unannounced.

During May's MobLand press tour, Hardy reflected how decades of physically demanding roles in Venom, Mad Max: Fury Road, and The Dark Knight Rises have impacted his health as he nears 50.

"Two knee surgeries, a herniated disc, chronic sciatica," the 47-year-old disclosed.

"Now plantar fasciitis too? Where did that come from? And why?! Plus a torn hip tendon. My body’s falling apart — and it’s not getting any younger."
