Sword Art Online Variant Showdown Returns After Extended Update

Sword Art Online Variant Showdown is back! After an extended maintenance period, Bandai Namco's action RPG has been relaunched. Initially slated for a summer 2024 return, the game's relaunch finally arrived, addressing core functionality issues that required significant development time.

What's New in SAOVS?

The relaunch introduces Battle Royal Season 1, a four-player knockout competition running until December 30th. Players can compete in League Matches for titles and accessories.

Returning players receive a welcome gift: 5 Sword Spark Mito Pickup Scout Tickets. A "Restart Celebration" event offers up to 100 free Scouts, login bonuses, and mission rewards until January 30th, 2025.

Limited-time opportunities await! Players can obtain the SSR Sword Spark Mito (Light-elemental fighter), and the new SSR Ability Cards "Destroyer of Destiny" and "Seasoned Comrades" are available until January 6th, 2025.
