Sword Art Online Variant Showdown est de retour ! Après une période de maintenance prolongée, le RPG d'action de Bandai Namco a été relancé. Initialement prévue pour un retour à l'été 2024, la relance du jeu est finalement arrivée, résolvant des problèmes de fonctionnalités de base qui ont nécessité un temps de développement important.

La relance introduit Battle Royal Saison 1, une compétition à élimination directe à quatre joueurs qui se déroulera jusqu'au 30 décembre. Les joueurs peuvent participer à des matchs de ligue pour des titres et des accessoires.
