Sticker Ride is a short and sticky puzzler that sees you evading all manner of traps, coming soon
Shortbread Games is back with a new game, Sticker Ride, an upcoming release that promises a unique and challenging gameplay experience. The objective? Guide your sticker along a path, evading a barrage of lethal traps—buzzsaws, flying knives, and bombs—to reach the finish line and stick it down.
Sticker Ride keeps things simple: push your sticker forward along a predetermined path. However, the catch is the asymmetrical movement; while forward momentum is swift, backward movement is significantly slower. This necessitates precise timing and skillful maneuvering to avoid the deadly crossfire of obstacles.
While not a narrative masterpiece, Sticker Ride follows in the tradition of Shortbread Games' previous titles like Packed!?, offering a cleverly designed and well-executed concept within the indie mobile gaming niche. The game is scheduled for release on February 6th for iOS.
Stick it to the Competition
Currently in its pre-launch phase, Sticker Ride has already caught our attention with an early trailer and screenshots. This short and sweet mobile game exemplifies the best of the indie scene, reminding us that experimentation and innovative gameplay are still highly valued.
While not every indie title becomes a major hit, Sticker Ride's intriguing puzzle mechanics make it a worthwhile addition to the mobile gaming landscape. Shortbread Games champions a refreshing approach to mobile game design, harkening back to a time when experimentation reigned supreme.
