Pirate Yakuza

The holiday break is behind us, so let's dive back into some exciting gaming news! While we're all still waiting on Nintendo Switch 2 news, there's been a significant update on a much-loved franchise. Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio recently unveiled new gameplay footage for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, showcasing its Hawaiian pirate adventure.

The presentation highlighted extensive ship customization, open-world sea exploration, engaging naval battles, a variety of mini-games, and diverse explorable locations. Goro Majima, a fan-favorite character, will feature two distinct combat styles: a fast, agile approach and a more brutal style utilizing short swords and pirate weaponry.

Players can recruit unique crew members who will aid in combat, exploration, and treasure hunting. The game promises hidden islands and original side quests to discover during gameplay.

A fantastic announcement at the presentation's conclusion: "New Game+" mode will be a free post-launch addition via a patch! This is a welcome change from Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, where this mode was initially exclusive to the pricier edition, drawing criticism from SEGA. With the official release only about six weeks away, this is great news for players.
