Get ready for the Pokémon GO Lunar New Year 2025 event! Running from January 29th to February 2nd, this celebration offers boosted encounters, shiny Pokémon, and exciting rewards.

Event Highlights:

• Increased Shiny Rates: Encounter Shiny Ekans, Onix, and Snivy more often in the wild.
• Boosted Encounters: Prepare for increased appearances of Ekans, Onix, Snivy, Darumaka, Dunsparce, Gyarados, and Dratini. Makuhita, Nosepass, Meditite, Duskull, and Skorupi will also hatch from 2km Eggs.
• Lucky Pokémon & Friends: Enjoy a higher chance of obtaining Lucky Pokémon through trades and becoming Lucky Friends.
• Research Rewards: Complete Field Research tasks for Stardust, XP, and Pokémon encounters. A paid Timed Research ($2) offers even more rewards, including Lucky Eggs and an incubator. Routes will also yield Zygarde Cells.
