Latest Deadlock update rebalances new heroes and nerf overall damage
Valve continues to surprise Deadlock players with regular updates, even without a fixed release schedule. The latest patch isn't a huge overhaul, but it's far from insignificant, addressing balance issues across multiple heroes. A complete changelog is available on the game's forum.

Following the January 18th introduction of four new heroes, adjustments were swiftly implemented. Holliday's Crackshot ability now affects units, halving its cooldown when doing so. Calico's Ava ability has been enhanced to destroy objects during its activation.
Existing heroes also received tweaks. Kelvin's health increased to 650 (from 600), while Vendicta's bullet speed was reduced to 740 (from 810), and her movement speed lowered to eight (from nine). In total, eleven heroes, including the newly released ones, saw targeted balance changes.
Deadlock remains in closed beta, maintaining a healthy online player base consistently fluctuating between 7,000 and 20,000 players.
