Coromon: Rogue Planet" Aims for 2025 Release

TouchArcade Rating: Following the mobile release of TRAGsoft's popular monster-collecting game, Coromon, a roguelite spin-off is on the horizon. Coromon: Rogue Planet (Free), slated for release next year, will be available on Steam, Switch, iOS, and Android. This new title aims to combine the turn-based combat of its predecessor with the addictive replayability of roguelite mechanics, creating a dynamic monster-collecting experience. The Steam page highlights key features including 10 ever-changing biomes, 7 playable characters, over 130 monsters, and more. Check out the official announcement trailer below:

The original Coromon is a free-to-play mobile title. It will be interesting to see how Coromon: Rogue Planet performs on mobile, and whether its release coincides with the Steam and Switch versions. You can wishlist Coromon: Rogue Planet on Steam now. While I haven't played Coromon recently, Coromon: Rogue Planet's gameplay sounds incredibly appealing. Based on the Steam screenshots, it appears perfectly suited for quick play sessions. In the meantime, you can download the original Coromon for free on iOS.
