Aptly nicknamed "A Feast in the Deep," Uth Duna emerges when the Scarlet Forest floods. As the region's apex predator, it's considerably tougher than previous encounters. Before engaging, equip a thunder-element weapon (if available—Rey Dau in Mission 2-2 is a good source) and gear or a Talisman (like Water Charm I) for increased water resistance. A hearty meal and Nulberries (to cure Waterblight) are also essential.

Uth Duna Attacks and Weaknesses

Uth Duna's iridescent fins act as a temporary defensive "Veil," slowing its movements. Breaking this veil increases its aggression but leaves it vulnerable. Its attacks primarily utilize its size and the water, creating disruptive waves. Key attacks to watch for include:

Belly Slam: A powerful forward slam after rising on its hind legs.
Roar: A temporary immobilizing roar.
