Clash of Clans to Remove Troop Training Times in Major Update
Clash of Clans, a cornerstone of mobile gaming, is set to undergo a significant transformation that will reshape the gameplay experience for its dedicated fanbase. In a bold move, Supercell is completely eliminating troop training times, allowing players to deploy their armies almost instantly and dive into battles quicker than ever before. This change follows the removal of training costs in 2022, marking another major step in modernizing the game to meet the evolving expectations of its players.
As part of this overhaul, Training Potions and Training Treats will no longer be available through in-app purchases or chest rewards. Players are encouraged to use these items before the end of the month, as they will be converted to Gems thereafter. For the time being, you can still acquire them through the Trader and Gold Pass, so make the most of them while you can!
To complement this new feature, Supercell is introducing a mechanic called "Match Anytime." This innovative system enables you to attack a snapshot of another player's base if no live opponents are available. You'll still earn rewards from these matches, but the players whose bases are used won't lose anything if their base is defeated. This feature, already utilized in Clan Wars and Legend League, will now become a standard part of the game.
Alongside these changes, Supercell is also tweaking other aspects of the game. For instance, Army Donations will now require Elixirs or Dark Elixirs, adding a new strategic layer to clan interactions.
