The official Bethesda Twitter/X account teased the event with an image prominently featuring the numeral "IV" and a background reminiscent of iconic Oblivion artwork, hinting strongly at what's to come.

Rumors of an Oblivion remake have been circulating for years, gaining momentum with leaks over recent weeks. The first hint came from a leaked 2020 Bethesda release schedule during the FTC vs. Microsoft trial in 2023, which suggested an Oblivion remaster was planned for fiscal year 2022. Although the document's age and missed release window initially cast doubt on the project's continuation, subsequent leaks in January of this year indicated a full-scale remake in development by Bethesda, with assistance from Virtuos. The most recent leaks from Virtuos' website last week further corroborated these reports, showcasing images of the remake in progress.

If these recent leaks hold true, The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion Remastered is set to launch on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation, featuring a Deluxe Edition that includes the iconic horse armor, in addition to the standard version.

Be sure to tune in tomorrow for the official confirmation and more detailed information about this exciting remake.
