Baldur's Gate 3 mod has been updated. It added a “superboss” of level 27 and a sheep-killer
Trials of Tav - Reloaded, a substantial upgrade by modder Celerev, transforms the original Trials of Tav mod by adding a challenging roguelike mode. This update significantly increases the difficulty of the adventure.
This enhanced version boasts new enemies, refined game balance, and a formidable level 27 superboss designed to challenge even veteran players. Conquering this boss marks a true completion of the roguelike run.
The expansion goes beyond a single boss encounter; over 60 enemies from the base game, including rare foes like Nine-Fingers Keene and Killer Sheep, have been incorporated. Gameplay mechanics have also been adjusted, improving trade balance and recalibrating the difficulty curve to prevent new enemy abilities from becoming insurmountable roadblocks.
Mod creator Celerev acknowledges the invaluable contribution of Hippo0o, the original mod's author, in building a foundation for this expansive game mode. For players preferring the original experience, the classic Trials of Tav remains available.
Whether you seek a rigorous test of skill or are simply anticipating Patch 8 with its promised crossplay and other enhancements, Trials of Tav - Reloaded provides a compelling and difficult challenge.
