In the highly anticipated game Assassin's Creed Shadows, players will have the exciting choice between two protagonists: Naoe, a female shinobi, and Yasuke, a historical African samurai whose inclusion has already stirred significant discussion ahead of the game's launch. Some fans have voiced concerns about potentially missing out on crucial content if they choose to focus primarily on one character over the other.

Jonathan Dumont, the creative director behind Assassin's Creed Shadows, has alleviated these worries by sharing insights into his own balanced approach to gameplay:

"I tend to switch between characters fairly evenly. For example, I might spend 3-5 hours with one protagonist, then switch and play another 2-3 hours with the second."

However, Dumont reassures fans that sticking with one character won't put them at a significant disadvantage. He explains that while each protagonist has unique opening sequences and personal story arcs, the game is designed to adapt seamlessly to the player's choices. He encourages players to follow their personal preferences:

"I don’t believe you’ll miss out on a lot. It really comes down to your personal playstyle. You might think, 'Alright, I’ll see how the game adjusts based on which character I pick.' Each hero has their own unique introductions and dedicated questlines, but the core experience is flexible. You can choose your favorite, and the narrative will adapt accordingly."

This flexibility ensures that players can enjoy Assassin's Creed Shadows in a way that suits them best, without worrying about missing out on essential elements of the game.
