The emmy app is your gateway to scooter bliss. Use it to locate an electric moped nearby, reserve it, and unlock it. It's that easy, so emmy.
We handle the rest—charging the e-scooters to ensure they're ready for your next adventure. Each moped comes equipped with two helmets in different sizes and a mobile phone holder, making your city exploration comfortable and convenient.
Setting up your emmy account is a breeze:
Download the emmy app and register for a one-time fee of €4.95, which includes 15 free minutes of riding.
Sign up & verify your EU driver's license: Once your account is approved, you're ready to ride our electric mopeds.
Ride: Find an electric moped near you using the app and reserve it for free.
End your rental: Park your emmy moped in a public parking lot within our designated business area to conclude your rental.
How do you start an emmy electric moped?
Open the helmet box: Press the red button and take a helmet from the box.
Remove it from the kickstand: Position the moped between your legs and push the handlebars forward.
Turn the red switch to “ON”: Ensure the red switch on the right handlebar is flipped to ON and the side stand is fully retracted. If you're riding a Yadea, press the “P-button”.
Start the engine: To start the moped, simultaneously pull the brake and press the “Down” switch on the left handlebar.

In Berlin, Hamburg, and Dresden, you can ride the NIU scooter, perfect for city commuting with its lightweight design. The Yadea moped is available in Hamburg, Kiel, and Munich.
For parking, please use designated moped and bike parking areas on the street. Avoid parking in bike lanes, bus lanes, or pedestrian walkways.
How much does it cost to rent an emmy moped?
Register for a one-time fee of €4.95 and enjoy 15 free minutes on your first trip (valid for 3 months). You can book a moped for free and reserve it for 15 minutes. Unlocking the moped costs €1, and you'll be charged €0.33 per minute while riding. You can pause your ride at a reduced rate if needed.

You can find over 3,800 electric sharing mopeds within our business area (visible in the emmy app) in Berlin, Kiel, Hamburg, and Munich.
