Nach Monaten der Spekulation und streng gehüteter Geheimnisse hat Atlus die lang erwartete Neuauflage von Persona 4 offiziell bestätigt – nun unter dem Titel Persona 4 Revival.

In einem kurzen, aber eindrucksvollen Enthüllungstrailer präsentierte Atlus P4R: Persona 4 Revival, das für Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 und PC erscheinen wird, mit einer Veröffentlichung am ersten Tag auf Xbox Game Pass. Obwohl der Trailer nicht tief in das Gameplay eintauchte, deuten die gezeigten, aktualisierten Umgebungen auf eine umfassende visuelle Überarbeitung hin, die die geliebte Welt von Inaba mit verbesserten Details und Atmosphäre auf moderne Gaming-Standards hebt.

Es ist ein Titel, der einen besonderen Platz in der Geschichte von Atlus – und in meinem Herzen – einnimmt. Wir entwickeln diese Neuauflage mit großer Leidenschaft und Sorgfalt, mit dem Ziel, sowohl neuen Spielern als auch langjährigen Fans ein frisches und überraschendes Erlebnis zu bieten. Das ursprüngliche Persona 4 erhielt von IGN eine Bewertung von 9/10 und wurde als „in vielerlei Hinsicht eine deutliche Verbesserung gegenüber den vorherigen Persona-Spielen“ gefeiert, mit einem reichhaltigeren Dungeon-Crawling- und Social-Link-Erlebnis, das die Spieler fesselte.
