GAMM: Italiens führendes Gaming-Museum bewahrt Gaming-Geschichte

Roms Piazza della Repubblica beherbergt heute das GAMM, Italiens größtes Videospielmuseum. GAMM wurde von Marco Accordi Rickards, einem Autor, Journalisten, Professor und CEO von Vigamus, gegründet und bietet eine fesselnde Reise durch die Geschichte, Technologie und das Gameplay der Spiele. Aufbauend auf dem Erfolg von Vigamus, einem in Rom ansässigen Spielemuseum, das seit 2012 über zwei Millionen Besucher begrüßt hat, erstreckt sich GAMM über 700 Quadratmeter auf zwei Etagen und präsentiert drei verschiedene Themenbereiche.

GAMMDOME: Ein interaktiver digitaler Spielplatz mit historischen Gaming-Artefakten, Konsolen und Spenden, alles basierend auf dem 4E-Konzept: Erlebnis, Ausstellung, Bildung und Unterhaltung.
PARC (Path of Arcadia): Eine nostalgische Reise zurück in das goldene Zeitalter der Arcade-Spiele mit Klassikern aus den späten 1970er bis frühen 1990er Jahren.
HIP (Historical Playground): Ein tiefer Einblick in die Spielmechanik, das Design und die Struktur und bietet einen Blick hinter die Kulissen der Entwicklung des Gamings.
