Application Description

An OBD2 engine ECU diagnostics tool utilizing a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth ELM327 adapter offers comprehensive vehicle diagnostics. This powerful application enables you to access and display data from various electronic vehicle systems, providing real-time graphics that you can save and review later. It also shows and resets engine fault codes/DTC trouble codes, ensuring you stay on top of your vehicle's health.

One of the standout features is the ability to set custom min/max values for each sensor/PID. When these thresholds are met, an "alarm" will alert you, helping you monitor your vehicle's performance closely. The tool supports both Bluetooth ELM327 and Wi-Fi ELM327 OBD adapters, with a recommendation to use adapters from version 1.5, as there have been numerous complaints about the functionality of version 2.1 adapters.

Attention! ELM327 chips are compatible only with vehicles that support OBD2:

  • Cars manufactured in the USA since 1996
  • In European countries since 2001 for gasoline cars and since 2003 for diesel cars
  • In Japan, since approximately 2000

The list of models and parameters is continually updated. Not all PIDs listed for a specific car brand may be supported by your vehicle, but you can customize the types of required PIDs in the "Settings / PID types" section for your convenience.

For certain car brands, such as some Mitsubishi models, you can control various systems, such as turning on the cooling fan or gasoline pump. To read MUT parameters and control actuators on Mitsubishi models with a CAN bus (Montero/Pajero IV, Outlander 2, etc.), you need to create a profile with the ISO 9141-2 protocol, while keeping the remaining profiles for reading CAN parameters set to ISO 15765-4 CAN (11bit 500K) or automatic. Note that not all Mitsubishi CAN-bus models support ISO 9141-2 connectivity.

This tool provides extensive opportunities for creating your own parameters, tailored to your specific needs.
