Seka - A Card Game

Seka, also known as Sikka, Sichka, Strekoza, Trinka, Trynka, Drynka, Tri List, Dva List, and other variations, is a captivating card game that can be played with a range of participants and rules.

Key Features:

• Number of Players: Seka can be enjoyed by 2 to 10 players.
• Deck: A full deck of 52 cards is used. For games with up to 4 players, only 20 cards are used (from Tens to Aces). For 5 to 10 players, a 36-card deck is used (from Sixes to Aces).
• Joker: The game includes a Joker, which can be agreed upon as any card, typically a Six of any suit.

Card Values:

• Joker and Ace: 11 points each
• King to Ten: 10 points each
• Lower Cards: Their face value

The player with the highest total points wins the game.

Game Rules:

• Dealer Selection: The dealer is determined by a draw. Players contribute a pre-agreed amount to the pot.
• Dealing: The dealer gives each player three cards. Players then decide whether to discard or play.
• Scoring: Points are scored for cards of the same suit (a "hlyust"). For example, a Seven and a Jack of Clubs score 17 points. If no cards match in suit, only the highest card's points are counted.
• Triples (Trikon, Trynka): Holding three cards of the same rank always scores higher than any hlyust, though not higher than a higher-ranked trikon.
• Bidding: Bidding starts with the player to the dealer's right. Players can fold, call, or raise.
• Showdown: After the bidding round, the first player decides whether to continue bidding or reveal cards.
• Winning the Pot: The player with the highest score wins the pot.
• Ties: In case of a tie, players can either split the pot or initiate a "svora," a new round with the same pot plus an additional 1/N (N being the previous pot's total).
• Svora: Other players can also join the svora by contributing.
• Bluffing: Players can bluff by raising bets with lower scores, potentially winning the pot without revealing their cards.
• Dark Bet ("Zatemnit"): The player next to the dealer can make an additional "dark" bet without looking at their cards. Subsequent players must double this bet to stay in the game.
