Neuroscience background: Visual signals from the eyes reach the brain much faster than the rational mind can process them, as the eyes react instantly while conscious thought takes time.

Under time pressure, this neural dynamic can trigger an impulse to choose the wrong answer, requiring focused concentration and quick, deliberate thinking to answer correctly and reduce your response time.

How to play:

Start by selecting one of two modes. By default, the app begins with the Stroop Effect mode, labeled "Get Meaning, Put Color" in the menu.

When a game starts, a question appears, and you must click one of the four color-coded buttons to answer.

Your main goal is to achieve as many correct answers as possible by the end of the test sequence.

Once you can consistently answer correctly, challenge yourself to improve your speed and reaction time.
