A core feature of RYFFC is the Ryff. A Ryff is a succinct "hot take" from the user, limited to 88 characters, that provides a quick reaction to an article. Through Ryffs, users can engage with articles, pop culture, and news in a novel way, moving beyond traditional comment structures. If a Ryff catches your eye, you can respond directly with a Ryff Back. At RYFFC, we encourage thoughtful interaction, allowing users to Ryff on another's Ryff only once until they receive a response.

Self Moderation

RYFFC empowers its users to self-select their exposure to controversial or potentially triggering material through three levels of moderation:

• G - "General" audience moderation level, ideal for users interested in mild or non-controversial content.
• M - "Moderate" audience moderation level, suitable for users open to mild to moderately controversial content.

Voting
