Thorncrown Rises Tower Locations

Three towers comprise this quest, each representing a sub-quest:

• Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise: Located northeast of Thorncrown Rises.
• Shadow of the Towers: Twilight Rise: Situated south of Thorncrown Rises.
• Shadow of the Towers: Command Rise: Found southwest of Thorncrown Rises.

Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise

Begin by speaking with Itzel, east of the Resounding Rise Tower. The sub-quest involves navigating the tower's interior, defeating Abyssal Mercators, and solving a painting puzzle.

Steps:

1. Interact with the painting at the hallway's end.
2. Follow the quest marker to engage the Abyssal Mercator.
3. Loot the northern Basic Supply chest.
4. Obtain the western Supply chest.
5. Access the eastern room and interact with the second painting.
6. Defeat the Abyssal Mercator.
7. Collect Supply chests from the east and west rooms.
8. Proceed north, pursuing the Abyssal Mercator.
9. Defeat the Mercator.
10. Interact with the painting behind it.
11. Open the chest to stop the shooting enemies.
12. Defeat the blocking enemy.

Painting Puzzle Solution:

1. Move the top-left painting to the bottom-right display.
2. Move the painting behind the top-left display to the bottom-left display.
3. Move the top-right painting to the top-left display.
4. Move the painting behind the bottom-right display to the top-right display.
5. Collect the Premium Supply chest.

Finally, engage the final Abyssal Mercator, speak with Itzel, and collect the Tidal Supply chest. Completing this weakens one Command Rise Tower barrier.

Shadow of the Towers: Twilight Rise

Travel southeast to the Twilight Rise Tower and speak with Insula to enter. This involves solving a time loop puzzle.

Steps:

1. Investigate the three marked locations.
2. Speak with Insula.
3. Enter the secret passage beneath the elevator.
4. Defeat the Abyssal Patricius.
5. Collect the Supply chest and continue onward.
6. Defeat the final Abyssal Patricius.
7. Speak with Insula.
8. Collect the Tidal Supply chest.

This weakens the second Command Rise Tower barrier.

Shadow of the Towers: Command Rise

This sub-quest automatically begins after completing the previous two.

Steps:

1. Speak with Insula and Itzel at the camp northeast of the Command Rise Tower.
2. Use the Wingray to fly towards the tower.
3. Enter the tower and follow the quest marker.
4. Collect the Supply chest west of the moving libraries.
5. Use the Grapple to ascend.
6. Collect the Basic Supply chest and defeat enemies for another Supply chest.
7. Proceed to the quest marker and engage the Abyssal Patricius.
8. Collect the chest and continue climbing with the Grapple.

Utilize the Grapple to maneuver the libraries and reach higher levels, collecting numerous Supply chests and two Ragunna Sonance Caskets. Use the chandelier mechanism to reach the top, where you'll find Liel deceased. Speak with Insula and Itzel, then use the portal to confront the Abyssal Patricius, obtaining the Call of the Abyss Rectifier and a Premium Supply chest.

Exiting via the portal and speaking with your companions awards the King of Thessaleo and Shadow of the Tower achievements.
