The Witcher 3 adaptation in the vein of fantasy movies from the 1980s
Tech enthusiasts continue to explore the potential of screen adaptations using modern technology, and their sights are now set on the Witcher series. A concept trailer for a Witcher 3: Wild Hunt adaptation, crafted by the Sora AI YouTube channel, has surfaced.
The video emulates the aesthetic of 1980s films, leveraging the power of neural networks. It features numerous recognizable characters from the Witcher universe, including Geralt, Yennefer, Ciri, Triss Merigold, Regis, Dijkstra, and Priscilla, among others. While there are minor stylistic differences, the characters remain easily identifiable.
Recently, the developers of The Witcher 3 hinted at the inclusion of Triss's wedding in the game. The "Ashen Marriage" quest was intended to take place in Novigrad. The storyline depicts Triss's burgeoning feelings for Castello and her desire for a swift marriage. Geralt assists with the wedding preparations, tasks including ridding the canals of monsters, acquiring alcohol, and choosing a wedding gift.
Interestingly, Triss's reaction varies depending on the gift chosen. Less extravagant gifts are less well-received, while a memory rose—a familiar item from The Witcher 2—elicits a strong emotional response from her.
