Warframe: 1999\'s Techrot Encore update sees you taking On-Lyne Off-Lyne, coming soon
Warframe: 1999's March update, "Techrot Encore," delivers a wave of new content, including the highly anticipated 60th Warframe, Temple. This update also introduces four fresh Protoframes and a significant addition to the Lich adversary system.
The Technocyte Coda, a mutated boy band known as On-Lyne from the game's pre-release ARG, emerges as a formidable new enemy. Players will face these once-harmless pop stars in their cybernetically enhanced forms.
To combat this threat, "Techrot Encore" provides an arsenal of new weaponry: four Scaldra weapons, offering diverse combat options. Further additions include enhancements to the Romance & Relationships system, a new Gyre Deluxe cosmetic skin, and the aforementioned Protoframes and Warframe.
The update's Y2K aesthetic continues to charm, adding a unique flair to the gameplay. The transformation of a boy band into cybernetic enemies is a highlight of the update's bizarre and engaging enemy design.
Leading up to the March release, players can enjoy the return of the Clan Operation: Belly of the Beast (starting February 6th), new skins, and Nightwave Vol. 8, offering additional rewards. For players eager to jump back into Warframe before the update, a regularly updated list of Warframe codes provides opportunities for free boosts.
