World of Warcraft Has Good News For Players Who Missed an Important 20th Anniversary Event Achievement
World of Warcraft's Detective Title Remains Accessible: A Guide to Finding Alyx and the Celebration Crates
World of Warcraft players can still earn the coveted Detective title and pursue the elusive Incognitro Felcycle mount, even after the 20th-anniversary event concluded. The key lies in locating Alyx, the Lightforged Draenei NPC, who has relocated to Dornogal.
Alyx, previously stationed at the anniversary event grounds, now resides in Dornogal, specifically in the hot springs area northwest of the Delver's Headquarters, near the Foundation Hall. They retain their informative board detailing the locations of 11 missing Celebration Crates.
Obtaining the Detective Title:
- Locate Alyx: Find Alyx in Dornogal, between the Delver's Headquarters and the Foundation Hall stairs.
- Gather the Crates: Use the clues on Alyx's board to locate the 11 hidden Celebration Crates scattered throughout the world. Note: Players must be level 10 to begin Celebration Crate quests but need to reach level 68 before accessing Dornogal.
- Claim Your Rewards: Return six crates to Alyx for the "Crate Insurance Agent" achievement, and all eleven for the "No Crate Left Behind," "Azeroth's Greatest Detective" achievements, and the crucial Detective title. The Detective title unlocks the Incognitro mount questline.
Post-Anniversary Accessibility:
While the main Guest Relations questline is unavailable, Blizzard's strategic relocation of Alyx ensures players can still obtain the Detective title and the associated mount. This prevents players from being permanently locked out of this rare reward. However, achievements like "Assistant to the Assistant Guest Relations Manager" and "I Saved the Party and All I Got Were These Lousy Hats" are no longer obtainable, along with their associated transmogs. The future availability of these specific rewards remains uncertain.
