Ubisoft's unannounced game, Project U, seems to be plagued by misfortune as gameplay leaks have been surfacing since as early as 2022, right after the closed beta testing phase began. These leaks have reemerged two years later, indicating that the project is still in development. Adding to the intrigue, an introductory cinematic has now been leaked online, hinting at a possible reboot of the game's development.

The leaked cinematic's origin and authenticity remain unconfirmed. It was shared by blogger Shaun Weber, known for leaking gaming content. Weber suggested that more Project U videos might surface if the game continues to be developed. Project U is anticipated to be a session-based cooperative shooter, taking inspiration from the success of Helldivers 2. The leaked footage reveals a storyline centered around an alien machine invasion of Earth, with players assuming the roles of chosen individuals fighting this extraterrestrial threat.

Despite these leaks, Ubisoft has yet to officially announce Project U or provide any details on its release timeline.
