Tony Hawk Eyes Remake of Tony Hawk's Underground
If you've been yearning for a return to Tony Hawk's Underground, you're in good company. Tony Hawk himself is actively "campaigning" for a remake of this beloved classic.
"I always have aspirations," Hawk shared with ScreenRant. "It's not up to me generally. I'll campaign all I can, but I'm working with a much bigger company that's a lot smarter than me."
When questioned about Activision's plans following the release of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4, Hawk remained tight-lipped, saying, "We haven't even released this game [yet]!"
Tony Hawk's Underground, which hit the shelves in 2003, received a stellar 9.2 review score from us at the time. It was lauded for its "virtually flawless" level design and "stellar gameplay." This game was groundbreaking as it allowed players to step off their boards and explore the expansive levels on foot for the first time in the series.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 is slated for release on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, and Xbox One on July 11, 2025.
