"Ticket to Ride: Japan Unveiled in Latest Update"

Just a few months after the Switzerland expansion debuted digitally, Ticket to Ride is back with another fan-favorite map: Japan. This marks the first time the Japan Expansion has transitioned from a physical to a digital format, and it introduces a significant twist. In this expansion, success isn't just about racing to complete your own tickets—teamwork and collaboration are key to winning.

The Japan map brings the Bullet Train network to Ticket to Ride, featuring a set of high-speed shared routes that span the country. While these routes are available for everyone to use, players are also required to contribute to their construction. Skipping out on teamwork comes with a hefty 20-point penalty at the end of the match, making the game a delicate balance between competition and cooperation.

Beyond strategy, the expansion introduces two new characters deeply rooted in Japanese culture. Nakanishi Kimiko, a travel blogger, explores the country's vibrant festivals with her loyal dog, while Moriyama Isamu, a Gyoji referee, brings a traditional touch to the board, connecting players to Japan's rich history.

The expansion also adds four new trains to the collection. The Ichi Eki Saki train and Tsuki Sleeper carriage offer a relaxed, scenic experience, while the Isogaba Maware train and Hayai carriage are designed for speed, ideal for navigating Japan's fast-paced routes.

This expansion is particularly timely as Japan is one of the most beautiful places to visit during springtime, thanks to the sakura blossoms. Download Ticket to Ride now by clicking on your preferred link below. The expansion is available for $6.99 or your local equivalent. For more information, visit the official Facebook page.
