Based on trailers and promotional materials, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is exclusively a first-person experience. This means there is no third-person mode available. The entire game, outside of cutscenes, is played from Henry's eyes.

This design choice is deliberate. The developers aim for immersive RPG gameplay, and the first-person perspective enhances the player's connection to Henry's journey. While the modding community might eventually create a third-person mod, the base game offers only a first-person view.

Cutscenes provide views of Henry, and conversations with NPCs utilize a camera that shifts between Henry and the other character. Henry's appearance dynamically changes based on dirt accumulation and equipped gear. However, the first-person perspective remains constant during exploration.
