Nintendo's decision to combine two smaller showcases proved a smart move, resulting in a flurry of announcements. While a complete rundown is impossible here, key highlights include several surprise releases (detailed below), Capcom Fighting Collection 2, the Suikoden I & II remasters, Yakuza Kiwami, Tetris Forever, MySims, Worms Armageddon: Anniversary Edition, new Atelier and Rune Factory titles, and much more. New Releases: A Look at Today's eShop Additions
Castlevania Dominus Collection ($24.99)
A fantastic surprise! This third Castlevania compilation features the complete Nintendo DS trilogy: Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin, and Order of Ecclesia. It also includes the infamous arcade title, Haunted Castle, along with a fantastic M2-developed remake. The emulation is superb, offering a comprehensive and high-quality experience. An incredible value for the price.
Pizza Tower ($19.99)
This Wario Land-inspired platformer is a whirlwind of frantic action. Conquer five massive floors of the Pizza Tower to save your restaurant. Fans of classic Wario platformers will adore this, but even those without nostalgia for the plumber should give it a try. A review is planned!
Goat Simulator 3 ($29.99)
Another surprise release! It's Goat Simulator 3 – chaotic goat mayhem in an open world. Performance on the Switch remains to be seen, as more powerful systems have experienced some difficulties. Proceed with caution, but even subpar performance might add to the game's inherent absurdity. Silly goats doing silly things – you decide if it's worth the risk!
Peglin ($19.99)
A missed opportunity for EA, perhaps? The lack of PopCap games on Switch is a shame, but Peglin scratches that Peggle itch perfectly. This turn-based RPG roguelite, previously available on mobile, is a fantastic addition to the Switch library. A full review is coming soon.
Doraemon Dorayaki Shop Story ($20.00)
Kairosoft's familiar shop sim formula gets a Doraemon makeover. This charming title features characters from the beloved manga and anime series, even including cameos from the creator's other works. A solid effort for fans of the franchise and simulation games.
Pico Park 2 ($8.99)
More Pico Park for existing fans! Up to eight players can cooperate in local or online multiplayer. The more, the merrier! Solve clever puzzle stages that demand teamwork and strategic thinking. A great sequel, but unlikely to attract many new players.
Kamitsubaki City Ensemble ($3.99)
An affordable rhythm game featuring music from Kamitsubaki Studio. Simple but enjoyable, a great value for the price.
SokoPenguin ($4.99)
A classic Sokoban experience starring a penguin. One hundred levels of crate-pushing puzzle fun.
Q2 Humanity ($6.80)
Over three hundred quirky physics-based puzzles. Use your character's abilities and drawing tools to solve problems. Up to four players can join in locally or online.
