The popular digital board game, Ticket to Ride, is expanding its reach with the new Switzerland expansion! This exciting addition opens up a new route through Switzerland and its neighboring countries, introducing both country-to-country and city-to-country connections. Build your railroad empire across a wider landscape, demanding new strategic thinking.

This holiday season update also includes two brand-new characters and four fresh tokens, a festive gift from developer Marmalade Games. The expansion isn't just about new locations; it introduces fresh gameplay mechanics. Country-to-country tickets challenge players to connect specific nations, offering varied point values depending on the chosen connection (e.g., France to Germany, Italy, or Austria). City-to-country tickets present a similar challenge, but with city-to-country links. Strategic planning is key, as each country features a limited number of connection points.

Successful route completions earn points based on the highest-scoring connection for each ticket. Conversely, failing to complete a route results in point deductions based on the ticket's lowest value.
