Subway Surfers Celebrates Pride Month with Fan-Created Character in Barcelona
- New LGBTQ+ character Berta joins the game
- Discover Barcelona’s vibrant beaches
- Allies in Arts collaboration supports creative opportunities
June marks the start of Pride Month, and Subway Surfers is embracing the celebration of love with a vibrant event featuring a new fan-designed character. Fresh from the game’s 13th anniversary, this update invites players to explore a themed Barcelona setting and introduces a meaningful partnership with Allies in Arts to enhance the festivities.
The spotlight shines on Berta, an LGBTQ+ character created by fan artist Aisberg. Through SYBO’s Craft-A-Character contest, the community helped shape this addition to the endless runner’s roster. Berta also debuts with a stylish “Summer Eleganza” outfit, adding extra flair to the adventure.
Embracing the Pride theme, players can claim a free Pride frame to display year-round, showcasing support for inclusivity every day, not just in June.

The collaboration with Allies in Arts, an organization dedicated to empowering marginalized communities through creative opportunities, is a key highlight. A portion of the Pride season proceeds will support their mission. The event runs through June 22, giving players ample time to join the celebration.
