Street Fighter 6 meta - which characters are most popular on top level
The Capcom Pro Tour has concluded, revealing the 48 competitors for Capcom Cup 11. While the focus is usually on the players themselves, let's examine the character choices of this elite group.
Following the World Warrior circuit, EventHubs compiled statistics on the most frequently used Street Fighter 6 characters at the highest competitive level. This data provides a valuable insight into the game's balance. Remarkably, all 24 characters saw representation, though only one player opted for Ryu out of nearly two hundred participants (analyzing data from eight regional finalists across 24 regions). Even the recently added Terry Bogard was selected by a mere two players.
Dominating the professional scene are Cammy, Ken, and M. Bison, each chosen as the main character by 17 players. A significant gap follows, with Akuma (12 players), Ed and Luke (11 each), and JP and Chun-Li (10 each) forming the next tier. Among the less popular choices, Zangief, Guile, and Juri stand out, each selected by seven players.
Capcom Cup 11 is set for March in Tokyo, with a grand prize of one million dollars awaiting the champion.
