While Season 2 is slated for late 2025, introducing new endgame content and the next expansion chapter, Patch 11.0.7 offers crucial story quests leading into Patch 11.1's Undermine storyline. Updated January 7, 2025: The Dalaran Epilogue, a poignant conclusion to the floating city's arc, is now accessible without a time gate. This questline provides a fitting farewell to a location integral to Wrath of the Lich King and Legion.

Accessing the Patch 11.1 Prologue: The Lingering Shadows Campaign

Unlike the Dalaran Epilogue, the Lingering Shadows campaign is immediately available. Completion of previous campaigns isn't required, but recommended for context. The questline includes:

Unlocking the Dalaran Epilogue in World of Warcraft: The War Within

Previously gated for three weeks, the Dalaran Epilogue is now readily available (as of January 7th). To begin, you must have completed both the main leveling campaign and the Level 80 campaign (requiring Renown Four with all four Khaz'Algar factions).

Check Foundation Hall (where Patch 11.1 prologue quests start). If Khadgar is present, you can receive the initial quest after January 7th. His absence indicates unfinished campaign quests. The Dalaran Epilogue quests are:
